Irwin was allegedly accompanied by a 45-year-old man during the frightening home invasion.

The court heard the pair escaped with $200 cash and keys to a Holden Astra, which was dumped 400m away.

Irwin is facing two charges of aggravated burglary and home invasion.

The police prosecutor argued Irwin was a risk to the community, while the defence said she had referred herself to Odyssey House three times for her drug addiction.

Magistrate Robert Kumar said Irwin posed an “unacceptable risk”.

“I’m not persuaded and you haven’t provided a compelling reason to support the bail application,” the magistrate said.

Irwin will reappear in court on August 8.
