A prison worker’s sister has been uncovered as a serious drug dealer after hefty stashes of drugs and weapons were found at Reservoir home.

Rachel Kate Lubawski, 42, fronted the County Court on Tuesday, pleading guilty to five charges of trafficking drugs and multiple charges of possessing prohibited weapons.

Police found five types of drugs, a .32 semi automatic revolver, three tasers, a crossbow and metal rods, flick knives and tear gas when they forced their way into Lubawski’s Allenby Ave home early on August 1, 2019.

Lubawksi had 249.9g of meth, 1.3kg of cannabis, 40.g of MDMA distributed between multiple deal bags in her garage.

She also had 4.1g of cocaine, 15.9g of GHB, tick books and prescription medication.

Investigators found a huge number of texts on her phone that revealed she was dealing the drugs, with the court hearing there were more than 10,000 pages of messages of evidence.

The court heard police had found Lubawksi’s boyfriend at her house during the raid, and that he had taken responsibility for the gun after his DNA was found on it.

It was heard that Lubawski had no prior convictions, but had been accused of committing further drug charges since the 2018 arrest, while she was on bail.

Lubawski will face those charges at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court in August.

The court heard Lubawski was a personal shopper who ran her own business Custom Event Planning, PR and Personal Shopping.

Police told the court every room of her home was filled with boxes of clothing and items.

It was heard Lubawski had long struggled with drug use and psychological difficulties and that her only support was her sister, who was a long term prison worker.

Lubawski’s lawyer told the court his client’s house, which she owned, had been ransacked and damaged during the 359 days she had been in jail.

He said police and her insurance company were unable to progress the matter while she was in custody.

Both the prosecution and Lubawski’s lawyer agreed she would benefit from being supported by a community corrections order.

Judge Quin ordered an assessment for the order, announcing Lubawski would be sentenced on July 7.
