Police are investigating a possible ram raid incident in Reservoir after a ute was driven into a shopfront.

A white ute has been used to ram raid a shopfront — believed to be a newsagent — in Reservoir overnight.

Emergency services were called to Broadway in Reservoir after a white ute deliberated back into a shopfront about 4.25am on April 11.

It is believed the building is a newsagent but it is unknown what the offenders stole from the business.

The offending vehicle had fled the scene before police arrived.

No one was present inside the shop at the time of the incident.
