A group of men armed with weapons held up a Glenroy service station, stealing cash, cigarettes and attacking the attendant.
A white Toyota HiAce van pulled into the service station on Pascoe Vale Rd in Glenroy on August 22 about 3.40am.
A man then exited the van and walked to the servo’s doors, waiting until the shop attendant opened the doors for him, before the three other men rushed from the van and into the store.
The four men, all wearing black hooded jumpers and armed with machetes and a baseball bat threatened the attendant and forced him to open the cash register.
The offenders then stole cash and cigarettes before leaving the store and driving off in the van.
Police have released CCTVs of three people who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
It’s understood the attendant was not seriously injured.
