How old were you when you took up your sport?
I was 11.
How did you get involved in this sport?
A friend of my Dad’s saw an ad in the local Leader paper for girls to try out for cricket and suggested I try it out.
What has been your biggest success?
Being selected for the Victorian girls Under-15 High Performance Academy this year and being a member of the premiership team for Research Eltham Collegians in 2018-19 and 2017-18.
Describe your training routine:
I train three to four days a week with Plenty Valley Cricket Club and the Victorian High Performance Academy, plus two days a week fielding practice and strength training.
What do you love most about your sport?
Having team success, the challenge of facing fast bowlers and getting good batters out.
Describe the toughest challenge you’ve faced in your sport:
On a very hot summer’s day, in the Victorian championships, we narrowly beat Barwon Rockets after losing our three previous matches. I was captain and I also top scored during the game.
