A DRIVER of a luxury car has allegedly been threatened by two men armed with guns during a terrifying carjacking in Melbourne’s north early Sunday morning.
The 46-year-old Craigieburn man was sitting in his Mercedes in a supermarket car park on Blair St, Dallas, when two men, both armed with a gun, allegedly got out of a nearby car and approached him just after midnight.
The men allegedly demanded the driver get out of his car before driving off with his Mercedes, while another car followed.
Police arrested four men and a woman at a property on Tylden Place, Westmeadows at about 4.30pm yesterday in relation to the incident.
Two firearms were also seized.
A 19-year-old man from Dandenong North has been charged with firearms offences and was remanded to appear at Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court today.
A Dandenong North man, 27, has been charged with aggravated carjacking and was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
Two men and a woman have been released pending further inquiries.
The Mercedes has been recovered.
