A doting dad has been implicated in a large-scale drug bust which went down in Melbourne’s north earlier this year.
Nathan Whelan, 32, fronted Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of GHB.
It’s alleged Whelan was caught with a large amount of the potentially lethal party drug at Lalor on June 21 this year.
Mill Park Divisional Response Unit members charged Whelan with trafficking drugs following his arrest.
Whelan was also charged with committing an indictable offence while on bail.
Whelan, who was also charged with possessing and MDMA and GHB, was remanded in custody to face court at a later date.
Whelan is a doting dad to his children according to the accused drug dealer’s Facebook page.
