Meadow Heights mosque targeted by thief who stole change and donation tins

A MOSQUE in Melbourne’s north has been targeted by a thief who broke in to steal money, including charity tin donations.

A MOSQUE in Melbourne’s north has been targeted by a thief who broke in to steal money, including charity tin donations.

An unknown man entered the Meadow Heights mosque on Hudson Circuit around 1.30am on December 14, entering the cafe area where he removed some change from a cash register.

Two money tins containing an unknown amount of donations were also taken.

The unshaven thief is perceived to be caucasian, of medium build, aged in his early thirties and approximately 173cm tall.

He was wearing light-coloured tracksuit pants and an Everlast hoodie at the time.
