A 34-year-old man was bailed and will appear at Heidelberg Magistrates Court in February on six counts of burglary, five counts of theft and five counts of obtaining property by deception.
Principal Mark Portman told the Leader the school had received an outpouring of support after the alleged burglaries.
“The news of our burglary went absolutely viral,” he said.
“We had people driving in off the street to donate instruments to us and they’ve all just said ‘Here have a keyboard’ or ‘There have a guitar’.
“We even had one man drive all the way from Seymour — it’s remarkable community generosity.”
