A KICKBOXER known as ‘The Punisher’ has been charged with culpable driving over a crash which claimed the life of an 88-year-old woman in Reservoir last month.
Brunswick 23-year-old Suleiman Abdulrahim appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court this week on charges of culpable driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death.
Abdulrahim allegedly slammed his high-powered Ferrari 360 spider into four cars while crossing into oncoming traffic in an attempt to overtake on High St in Reservoir about 3pm on Saturday, June 27.
The Ferrari allegedly hit two cars before crashing head on into a Mazda travelling in the opposite direction. The Mazda passenger — an 88-year-old Reservoir woman — died in hospital last week as a result of her injuries.

Three others were taken to hospital following the crash — including Abdulrahim.
Abdulrahim was granted bail at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday, and will return for a committal mention on October 8.
Abdulrahim’s latest visit to the Melbourne Magistrates Court comes after he was arrested, but not charged, following a wild brawl inside the courthouse in February.
At least 20 police and with several ambulance crews were called to the brawl, which closed an entire floor of the state’s busiest courthouse.
The brawl reportedly broke out after Abdulrahim became involved in a verbal stoush with another man.
The fight only ended when security staff used capsicum spray.
One man received lacerations to the face during the brawl, and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Abdulrahim has a flawless 3-0 kickboxing record in the super middleweight division — including one knockout.
