Free activities at Greensborough Plaza during winter school holidays

An indoor ice-skating rink is just one of many boredom busters on offer as Greensborough Plaza prepares to transform into a winter wonderland with a host of free family activities.

An indoor ice-skating rink and a virtual reality snowball game are just some of the boredom busters on offer at Greensborough Plaza during the winter months.

The shopping centre will also be offering a 3D “reality defying” art activity and a winter maze.

It will be the first time an indoor ice-skating rink is provided for families at the complex, while children can live out their fantasies at the other Winter Wonderland themed activities.

The following will be free and will run from June 1 until the end of the July school holidays.

Virtual Reality Snowball Game

Friends will become frenemies at the interactive virtual snowball game. Prepare for a battle of strategy and skills as you attempt to dodge flying snowballs. Suitable for all ages, games run from Saturday, June 1 until Sunday, June 23.

The battlefield will be at the Tables on the Green, Level 3.

3D Reality-Defying Artwork

Photograph yourself and have a little memento to take home when you participate in this interactive artwork activity. Feel free to get creative. The free activity will also be at Tables on the Green, Level 3 and will run from June 1 until Friday, July 28.

Winter Maze

Have ‘a-maze-ing’ fun wandering through this winter-themed maze. It will

include free craft activities every Saturday in June. The activity will suit children 10

years and under.

Activities include:

Beanie decorating activity — Saturday, June 1;

Mitten decorating activity — Saturday, June 8;

Hot Chocolate Mug decorating — Saturday, June 15; and

Ear Muff decorating — Saturday, June 22.

The maze can be found at Centre Court, Level 1.

Ice-Skating Rink

A huge ice-skating rink will be operating in Centre Court at Greensborough

Plaza throughout the winter school holidays. Skaters shoes start from child size 9.

It will run from Friday, June 28 until Sunday July, 14 between 10am and 3pm.

Children can skate for a gold coin donation to the Salvation Army.
