Epping car rampage: Healey Drive, Ilani Street, Saunders Crescent, Lancia Court cars damaged

A driver who smashed into cars, fences and street signs across four Epping streets has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

Seven parked cars have been damaged after a driver left a trail of destruction in Epping.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said a man had been taken to hospital with serious injuries after his white Toyota 4WD collided with the cars on Wednesday between 12.45am and 1am.

The spokesperson said police believe the vehicle also collided with a number of light poles and street signs in the area.

The Toyota 4WD and five other vehicles were extensively damaged during the incident.

The driver, a 48-year-old Epping man, was found inside his car in Lancia Court and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The cars damaged were parked in Healey Drive, Ilani St, Saunders Crescent and Lancia Court.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
