A Mulgrave man returning home from a big night after his Christmas party was busted by the cops after he tried to park in a very unusual place.

A man’s alleged blunder in mistaking a trolley bay for a parking space got him busted by the cops for drunk driving, after a big night out at his work Christmas party.

Police responded to reports of a crash at the McDonalds Rd shopping centre carpark in South Morang at 6.20am on December 20.

They got a big surprise when they found a car suspended between a trolley bay and a tree in the carpark.
