A driver managed to flee without injury after his truck dramatically burst into flames on the Tullamarine Fwy during peak hour, creating a huge plume of smoke in the area.

A driver has miraculously escaped injury after his truck burst into flames on the Tullamarine Fwy.
Fire crews were called to the scene, at the on-ramp of the Western Ring Rd, about 7.20am following reports a vehicle was on fire.
The truck, carrying a load of steel, was fully alight when they arrived, with water and foam used to bring the blaze under control.
The outbound ramp on to the M80 Ring Rd heading towards Greensborough is closed as a result of the fire, with emergency services directing traffic.
Motorists have been warned to expect delays.
