Amelia may only be little, but she is big on giving.
The six-year-old has decided to cut her waist-length hair and donate it for wigs for cancer survivors.
The Craigieburn girl said she decided to do something after seeing a girl without any hair.
“I said to mum, “when I went to the shops with daddy, I saw this girl with no hair,” Amelia said. “I felt sad.”

Mum, Daniela Mitrev, said she told Amelia that sometimes children and adults became sick and lost their hair.
“Amelia said: ‘is there something I could do to make them feel beautiful?’’’
“I said” ‘you know people grow their hair and give their hair to have it made into a wig. Is that something you could do?’
“She said, ‘ yes, yes, I want to do that’.”
Ms Mitrev said though she brought up both her children to help others, she was really surprised at Amelia’s decision as she loved having long hair.
“She is such a girly girl,” Ms Mitrev said.
“She loves having braids … likes having different hairstyles for school every day.”
The Year 1 student has been growing her hair for two years to get it ready for the big chop.
Her initial goal to raise $300 for Cancer Council Victoria has long been surpassed with friends and family already donating $1600.
Amelia will cut her hair on Saturday, May 18 at a fundraiser at Lollipop’s Playland and Cafe in Bundoora.
