A man has died from his injuries after he was hit by a car in Brunswick West on Wednesday morning.
An 82-year-old Brunswick man was sent to hospital after he was hit by a Ford Ranger at the intersection of Hope St and Melville Rd.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed they attended the scene to offer medical treatment.
“Paramedics treated a man with upper body injuries who has been taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition,” a spokesperson said.
The man died from his injuries on Thursday morning.
A 27-year-old Brunswick man has been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury. He will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
