Brunswick home targeted in aggravated burglary

A pair of hungry thieves relieved a sleeping Brunswick Rd couple of their credit cards and then promptly headed to McDonalds to grab a feed. That meal could lead to their downfall.

A couple of hungry thieves used credit cards from the sleeping owners of a Brunswick house for a feed at McDonald’s.

The residents of the Brunswick Rd property, who were asleep at the time of the theft on June 10, reported to police their credit cards and laptops had been taken.

Police said they believe the credit cards were used a short time later to buy food at a McDonalds outlet.

Moreland crime investigation unit detectives have released images of two men they believe can help with their investigation.

One of the men was wearing a dark-coloured beanie and black jacket and the other man had a black peaked cap on and dark T-shirt.
