A carpenter has died following a suspected fall at a Moonee Ponds construction site on Monday.
The 23-year-old was found unresponsive beside a scaffold following a suspected fall.
He was attended to paramedics just after 11am before he was rushed to hospital with critical head injuries.
The man died in hospital on Thursday.
WorkSafe is investigating the incident.
The death brings the workplace fatality toll to 31 for 2021.
