Woman flees St Albans `scene after allegedly smashing into rear of car in front
A woman allegedly fled the scene after the car she was driving smashed into the back of another car causing considerable damage.

A woman has allegedly fled the scene after her Holden Astra collided with the rear of a Subaru Forester on Wednesday in St Albans.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of the incident.
Police believe a white Holden Astra sedan collided into the rear of a white Subaru Forester wagon while travelling northbound about 4.45pm.
It is believed the driver of the Holden Astra then fled the scene without exchanging details with the driver of the Subaru Forester.
The driver of the Subaru was uninjured however, the car was moderately damaged.
The Holden was severely damaged in the incident but it is unknown if the driver suffered any injuries.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The driver of the Holden Astra was described as being female and of average height.
She was believed to be wearing a dark top and was barefoot.
