Moonee Valley Festival returns with six-week slate of events
Enjoy a day of music on the banks of the Maribyrnong River with the return of the Moonee Valley Festival. The Illuminate the River event is just one of a host of activities planned for the six-week celebration.

Foodies, music lovers and families are in for a treat as the Moonee Valley Festival makes its return this month.
With five highlight events taking place from February 15 to the end of March, there’s something for everyone.
The festivities will kick off with Illuminate the River at The Boulevard in Aberfeldie, with live music, performances. pop-up activities and a water and laser show.
Jacobs Run, Oz Boyz, Telenova and Forever 80s will take to the stage to headline the show.
A closing community picnic on March 29 will take place to celebrate Neighbour Day and will end with the exciting announcement of the Moonee Valley Neighbourhood Spirit Awards.
Other events on the agenda over the month include a sport come and try day, a twilight concert and a festival food fair.

Moonee Valley Mayor Samantha Byrne said the festival would help bring the community together.
“The Moonee Valley Festival is a celebration of all the things that make our city such a wonderful, vibrant place – our many cultures, diverse foods, arts, entertainment and getting active,“ she said.
“There will be events and activations spread out across our city so we encourage you to get to as many as you can and experience the best of what Moonee Valley has to offer – and best of all it’s all free.”
