Heading to the airport but got some time to kill before catching that overseas flight? Forget the bar, travellers now have a larger range of retail stores to visit.
Melbourne Airport chief executive Lorie Argus confirmed the latest additions on the flight path for the transport hub.
“Over the coming weeks we plan to open new Chatime, Mezze ZaZa and Sunglass Hut stores in terminal three and four, an Oroton pop-up in terminal two as well as a Daniel’s Donuts pop-up and a new WH Smith kiosk in terminal one,” she said.
“Passengers can also expect more stores to arrive next year as part of the airport’s upgrade. These new options will provide passengers with more choice as they arrive or depart, and we look forward to further expanding our offering when the full upgrade of terminal one is completed next year.”
Nearby Highpoint Shopping Centre has also upgrading its retail options.
The Maribyrnong complex has unveiled several new and refurbished stores in recent weeks, just in time for the festive season. From gelato to toys and make-up to clothing, here are the new and improved stores at Highpoint Shopping Centre.
