Colourful bricks have been the building blocks of a Brunswick married couple who will put their steady hands to the test on an upcoming reality show.
Jimmy Eaton and Maddy Tyers will put their skills to the test on Lego Masters on Channel 9 from Sunday night.
But they first met when they worked for the Starlight Foundation and quickly bonded over their shared passion for piecing together Lego creations.

A love for the bricks even played a part in their engagement.
“I took Maddy out for a picnic in Edinburgh Gardens (in Fitzroy North) and we always buy each other Lego for presents so I get her this tiny box of Lego,” Mr Eaton said.
“She said she would open it back at our house but I sort of insisted and then she opened it up and saw the ring and said ‘oh my God’.”
Ms Tyers said the pair worked out a unique system to deal with the Danish toy under the studio lights and camera pressure during the competition, despite breaking their rule of not fighting or crying on the first episode of the show.
“We were often on top of each other, like climbing all over each other to make these creations happen,” she said.
“Even though there were some moments of ‘get out of my way’, we also had a laugh.”
The show premieres on April 28.
