Four men top list of Moreland’s most wanted

Four men from across Melbourne’s inner north, including one who allegedly made threats to kill, have ignored court dates and are at the top of the wanted list for police. Here’s how you can help track them down.

A man who allegedly made threats to kill and failed to appear in court tops the list of Moreland’s most wanted alleged criminals.

Ibrahim Merhi, 32, has four outstanding warrants, which include unlicensed driving, drug possession, contravening a community corrections order and making threats to kill.

He stands at 175cm, with a thin build and is known to visit Coburg and Fawkner.

Merhi is part of a quartet of wanted men the Moreland Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) is hoping to round up and need your help to find.

All four skipped court dates in recent months and disobeyed either community corrections orders or bail.

Moreland CIU Senior Sergeant Scott Leach said the keen eye of the public could be crucial in finding the foursome.

“These four suspects are between 32 and 40 years old, have all failed to appear at court on a variety of criminal offences,” he said.

“Police are appealing to the public to assist in locating these persons of interest.”

Joining Merhi on the list is alleged thief Matthew Humphreys.

The 36-year-old has four warrants to his name, for theft, serious driving offences and disobeying a community corrections order.

He has been seen in Coburg and Coburg North and is 175cm tall with a thin build.

Anthony Parisi is wanted for stating a false name

Anthony Parisi is wanted on two warrants for breaching bail and stating a false name. He is also 175cm tall and with a thin build. He is known to visit Coburg, Brunswick and Burnside Heights.

Rounding out the list is Ninos Barkho, 40, who is wanted on two warrants, for possessing a drug of dependence and for contravening a community corrections order.

He is 170cm tall, has a medium build and has been seen in Glenroy.
