A grass fire that broke out at a popular Tullamarine reserve was brought under in control in less than an hour.
Crews arrived at Steele Creek Reserve about 11.30am on Monday after multiple calls were made reporting a grass fire near Snyder Court.
A Fire Rescue Victoria spokesperson said the fire was quickly controlled.
“Six appliances attended and the fire was brought under control in one hour,” they said.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed crews attended the scene shortly after for “health monitoring” but no one required medical assistance.
Victoria Police confirmed it was not looking into the matter as the fire was deemed “non suspicious”.
