Bomb squad, police on scene at Glenroy address following reports of suspicious package
A mystery package has sparked a bomb scare at Glenroy, with the bomb squad en route as police and emergency services work to shut down nearby roads.

The bomb squad has been called to an address in Glenroy following reports of a suspicious package.
Glenroy Rd has been shut down and police and emergency services are on scene after the Bomb Response Unit was called to the address near Northern Golf Club about 1pm.
It is unclear if the package was located at a house or on the green.
A Victoria Police spokesman told the Leader the Bomb Response Unit had been dispatched however there was no immediate risk to neighbours.
“Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of an incident in Glenroy this afternoon,” the spokesman said.
“Police were called to premises on Glenroy Road about 1pm as a result of a suspect package.
“There is no immediate risk to the public and the Bomb Response Unit is en route.”
