THEY are the faces police reveal to the public when they need us to be their eyes and ears.
Known to police but at large, these people are wanted in relation to a wide range of serious crimes committed throughout Melbourne — assault, drug trafficking, deception, stalking and breaching parole.
Crime Stoppers Victoria chief executive Samantha Hunter said research showed information from the public was vital in solving crimes, and publishing lists of Melbourne’s “most wanted’’, as Leader Newspapers does today, dramatically increased the chances of these people being arrested.
Members of the community “really are the eyes and ears of Victoria Police”, Ms Hunter said.
Crime Stoppers may offer rewards of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.

“When information is provided to Crime Stoppers, they then pass it on to the relevant investigator and it is assessed and followed up where appropriate,” Victoria Police Sergeant Kris Hamilton said.
At the time of print, these people were still listed as wanted by Crime Stoppers Victoria.
STEPHEN ANDY
Date of birth: November 16, 1982

Andy is wanted over a family violence incident involving serious assault. The offence occurred in Dandenong North on January 5, 2015.
Police are appealing to the public for assistance in finding him. They believe he may have travelled to the Swan Hill area to stay with family but he is also known to frequent the Dandenong, Cranbourne and Hampton Park areas.
CHRISTOPHER CLEMMET

Police are looking for Clemmet in relation to a series of offences across Coburg, Preston, Fitzroy North and Parkville between March 24 and April 2. The offences include an attempted armed robbery, a police pursuit involving a stolen vehicle, aggravated burglary and a series of deceptions and thefts from cars.
NATHAN GLEESON

Gleeson is wanted in relation to a series of alleged offences including theft and burglary. There are four warrants out for his arrest regarding burglary, theft from a shop and driving offences.
He is known to frequent the Mooroolbark, Lilydale and Mordialloc areas.
NICOLE GVERO

Complexion: ruddy
Gvero is wanted over a drug-related matter that occurred on January 11, 2015. A warrant has been issued for her arrest for failing to appear at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court.
JASON CAMERON HARVEY

Police are searching for Harvey in relation to the alleged breach of an intervention order. A warrant for Harvey’s arrest has been issued by the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on charges of stalking, making threats to kill and breaching an intervention order. Police are keen to locate him because he has a history of serious assaults. He is known to frequent the Melton area.
REBECCA CHERYL PORTER

Porter is wanted over the theft of a purse and the use of the victim’s credit card in Prahran on Sunday, March 22. She is also wanted in relation to a series of offences including burglaries, thefts and obtaining property by deception between February and April across several Melbourne suburbs. Warrants have been issued for Porter’s arrest by the Sunshine, Melbourne and Dandenong magistrates’ courts. She is known to frequent the Richmond, Fitzroy and Collingwood areas.

Suleman is wanted in relation to several deceptions at various bank branches in Melbourne in March. He allegedly used stolen cheques to make deposits at banks in Sunshine, Burwood East and Melbourne CBD. The stolen cheque book is believed to be linked to an aggravated burglary in Toorak last December. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Yilmaz is wanted on a series of deception and drug charges. On November 6, 2013, he allegedly used a stolen credit card and ID to purchase goods from several locations in Pakenham and Knox. Warrants have also been issued for his arrest for failing to answer bail.
