A woman has allegedly been caught almost five times over the legal blood alcohol limit after she crashed into two cars in Melbourne’s west.

Police responded to reports of the crash in Challis St, Newport about 9.50pm on Wednesday after the woman hit two parked cars.

The 47-year-old Newport woman was breath tested and returned an alleged blood alcohol reading of .24.

She was one of three drivers caught with alleged high blood alcohol readings in Melbourne’s northwest within an hour, after police pulled up two drivers at a breath test site in Oak Park.

A 28-year-old Roxburgh Park man pulled into the site on Pascoe Vale Rd about 9pm, and returned an alleged blood alcohol reading of .160.

A short time later, a 39-year-old Oak Park woman was also tested at the site, and returned an alleged blood alcohol reading of .192.

Officers immediately suspended the woman’s driver’s license and impounded her car.

The three drivers are expected to be charged on summons, while the Roxburgh Park man is also expected to be charged with driving while disqualified.
