A Robinvale man who begged for release on his birthday less than a week ago found himself in front of a magistrate again on Tuesday after allegedly going on another violent rampage.

Raymond Terrick, 51, had recently been released from jail on a community corrections order. Less than 24 hours later, he allegedly verbally abused someone, threatened violence and made remarks about smashing their face, the Mildura Magistrates’ Court heard.

Just two days after that incident, it was alleged he attacked the same person’s car.

Mr Terrick allegedly repeatedly punched the driver’s side window before ripping off the side mirror and smashing the mirror.

When he was arrested at that incident, he allegedly said, “when I get out I am going to firebomb your house”.

It was also alleged Mr Terrick was being a nuisance once he was behind bars.

The Mildura Magistrates’ Court heard he allegedly urinated on his cell floor and masturbated directly into the CCTV camera in his cell.

The court also heard Mr Terrick allegedly spat at an Ambulance Victoria worker who was trying to sedate him in Robinvale on April 22.

During their submissions, the police prosecutor highlighted Mr Terrick had faced 15 charges in the last seven days.

Magistrate Patrick Southey denied bail, telling Mr Terrick “you’re a risk to yourself and the community”.

Mr Terrick is set to next appear at Mildura Magistrate Court on May 15.
