Man charged over collision in state’s west which killed one woman

Police have charged a man over the death of a woman in the state’s west on Tuesday.

A man has been charged after a fatal collision in Horsham on Tuesday.

A woman tragically died when three cars collided on McPherson Street around 12pm.

She died at the scene while a 30-year-old Jung man, who was driving the third vehicle, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

He’s been charged with culpable driving causing death and will appear at Horsham Magistrates’ Court.

Another driver, a woman, was not injured.

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit travelled to the scene.
