A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a tree at Red Cliffs on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to a bush track along the Murray River following reports a motorcyclist had crashed just before midday.
Witnesses and paramedics tried to revive the man, believed aged in his 40s, who died at the scene.
Police have cordoned off the area surrounding the crash while they process the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, with dashcam footage or further information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
There have been 95 people killed on Victorian roads this year, compared to 86 at the same time last year.
