Mildura, Irymple men arrested following police raids

Two men have been arrested after police raided an Irymple property and uncovered thousands in alleged stolen goods.

Two men have been arrested after allegedly stealing close to $90,000 worth of property.

Detectives from Mildura Crime Investigation Unit arrested and charged a 23-year-old from Mildura and a 33-year-old from Irymple on Wednesday afternoon after executing a search warrant at an Irymple property.

Investigators will allege they found drugs and what is believed to be stolen property including motorcycles, cars, trailers, power tools and building materials.

It‘s believed those items were allegedly stolen during burglaries and thefts dating back to May.

Both men have been charged with 11 counts of theft, six of burglary, handling stolen goods and weapons and drug related offences.

They will face Mildura Magistrates‘ Court on Thursday.
