A popular takeaway restaurant in Mildura has been forced to close for clean-up after a fire was deliberately lit on the premises.

A takeaway restaurant and general store on San Mateo Ave in Mildura has been forced to close for the foreseeable future as they begin clean up from a fire on Sunday night.
Davos, a popular spot for a quick bite to eat or day to day supplies, was targeted by an arsonist about 10pm on Sunday.
It is believed a fire was started in an airconditioning unit at the back of the property.
The store is now closed while the clean-up is underway.
“We are really sorry for any inconvenience,” the owners said in a Facebook post.
A 19-year-old man has since been arrested and released pending further enquiries.
Ambulance Victoria was called to the scene but luckily their services were not required and no one was injured.
