Cranbourne South man Wayne Douglas Doble, 65, has been held in custody to await sentencing for his part in a drug operation that was allegedly connected to a rehabilitation service.

Doble was found guilty at a trial on charges of trafficking a commercial quantity of a drug of dependence and possession of the substances, materials, and equipment needed to traffick a drug of dependence.

He was charged after a police search of the premises of the former Daily Planet brothel at Elsternwick in 2019, after it became the Wellbeing Planet live-in treatment centre.

He will return to court in November for his next court appearance.
