Three men beaten in St Kilda as police hunt the alleged attacker

CCTV captures the moment a man was allegedly attacked by a stranger in St Kilda as police hunt the alleged offender. Watch the footage here.

Three men were allegedly attacked in St Kilda with one man allegedly repeatedly punched in the face.

It is believed the alleged offender punched one man in the face several times before allegedly punching a second man in the face and kicking him in the chest about 8.30pm at The Esplanade, February 12.

Investigators also believe the alleged offender was involved in another alleged attack on Acland St about 11pm where a man was allegedly punched and kicked in the face.

The alleged victims, all aged in their 50s, suffered various injuries and were treated by paramedics.

CCTV footage captures the unknown suspect, who was described as Southern European with short dark hair and a large tattoo on his left calf.

He was wearing a white T-shirt with a dark pattern across his chest, black shorts and white Nike shoes.

Police are asking for help to identify the man and urge anyone who witnessed the incident to call crime stoppers or submit an online report.
