How many active cases in Victoria today: Covid numbers for your area

Greater Geelong, Boroondara and Casey continue to record hundreds of new cases as infections rise across the state.

Concerns over new Omicron subvariant

Covid cases continue to grow in Victoria, with another 9752 infections recorded on Thursday.

Greater Geelong recorded the biggest jump in cases (462), followed by Casey (394), Wyndham (336), the City of Whittlesea (313) and Boroondara (311).

A further seven people aged in their 70s, 80s and 90s have died with Covid.

Postcode 3977 (Cranbourne, Cranbourne North, Cranbourne West) has the highest number of active cases in the state, with 714 active infections, followed by postcode 3029 (Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing, Truganina) with 147 cases, and postcode 3030 (Werribee, Point Cook) with 141 cases.
