Docklands apartments: Mirvac’s Voyager Tower on Yarra’s Edge provide luxury living

With rooftop views of Melbourne’s skyline and the Yarra River, a yoga lawn, karaoke room and private dining, there’s every reason why you’d want to live here.

First look at the $300m Voyager residential tower at Yarra's Edge.

Five-star hotel-standard living will soon be a reality for 3000 people moving into Mirvac’s premier Voyager Tower.

The 43-level Docklands development — reaching 130m — boasts views of the stunning Yarra River and Melbourne skyline.

The first residents are scheduled to move into their new digs in Spring this year.

The tower will have 315 apartments, a rooftop communal space where residents can relax on the grassed outdoor area with a firepit,

a private dining room, bar, lounge area, fire pit, theatre, karaoke room, fitness centre and yoga lawn.

Residences on offer include one, two and three bedroom apartments.

Victorian Planning Minister Richard Wynne visited the site on Thursday said Victorians had traditionally underestimated that part of town.

“On this side of the river you actually get an understanding of what an extraordinary opportunity not only this development site and on the southbank of the river but also the opportunities that will be available on the northside,” he said.

“For so long we as a community actually turned out back on the river.

“Across the road from us we have Fishermen’s Bend, which is the biggest urban redevelopment site in the Country.”

The construction of the building has suffered no delay as a result of the Covid pandemic and lockdown in Melbourne.
