A man was flown to hospital and three young women injured following a horror crash involving two cars at Ventnor on Phillip Island.

A man was flown to hospital and three young women injured following a horror crash in Ventnor on Phillip Island on Friday night.

San Remo officers are investigating after two cars collided about 7pm on July 15.

It is believed a blue Holden utility and a silver Toyota Camry sedan collided at the intersection of Ventnor Beach Road and Ventnor Road.

The male driver of the Holden, a 65-year-old Ventnor man, was flown to hospital with upper body injuries.

Three women in their 20s, inside the Camry, were also taken to hospital with upper body injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
