JYE Moli leaves nothing on the court when he’s playing basketball.
The Carrum Downs boy, 15, loves competing and his desire to be his best is paying off with state-level selection for the third consecutive year.
Jye has been selected to represent the Victorian Metro under-16 basketball team at the Junior Championships in July.
This follows competing with a Victorian school boys team in 2015 and participating in two consecutive years for Vic Metro in the Southern Cross Challenge in Melbourne.
Jye said it was a huge honour to represent his state.
“Being chosen to represent Victoria Metro is an excellent opportunity to play in a very competitive environment,” he said.
He enjoys playing as a team member and supporting his team mates on and off the court.
His intensive training regime includes morning, evening and weekend sessions.
Jye is a 2018 Leader Local Sports Star Junior Nominee.
