COOPER Errey is giving it his best shot to smash his way to the top of the Victorian junior tennis rankings.
The Templestowe Park Primary School student will head to Shepparton in a few weeks for School Sport Australia’s Bruce Cup.
He’s one of 14 kids from across the state who’ve been serving up their best efforts in trials since June.
Cooper said his earliest tennis memory was hitting a ball with his mum, Simone, in the carport at their family home.
Now he wants to end up playing in grand slam tournaments.
The Bruce Cup starts on October 14.
