LITTLE daredevil Aiden Johnstone is starting to tear up the world of competitive scooter riding and he’s only seven years old.
He learnt to ride at Epping Skatepark, where his dad, Tony, spotted his talent and fearless attitude.
“After destroying two $40 Razor scooters, several knee scrapes and plenty of Band-Aids, I knew I needed to invest in something stronger for this little daredevil,” Mr Johnstone said.
Soon after, Aiden got a new limited edition scooter for his birthday and he joined the Australasian Scooter Association in September to compete with kids his age.
The rising star has already won numerous competitions, including the champion trophy at the Victorian State Titles at Rampfest.
Aiden will compete at the national championships at Bunker Indoor Skate Park in Braeside on April 29 and 30.
Aiden is eleigible to be Whittlesea Leader Local Sports Star.
Leader Local Sports Stars medallists will be named in seven categories, including juniors, teams, individuals, and encouragement. The program is now a national celebration and junior category winners will be judged for national awards.
