ST KILDA has added a Collingwood VFL and St Kevin’s VAFA star to its train-on squad ahead of the AFL national and rookie drafts.
Former Dandenong Stingray Tom Jok will call Moorabbin home for the next few weeks, with the Saints kicking off pre-season training on Wednesday.
The long-striding 21-year-old has emerged as a draft hopeful after a strong finish to the season.

At the start of 2018 Jok was part of Collingwood’s VFL development squad, but was added to the primary list when defender Ryan Pendlebury transferred to Port Melbourne.
The 193cm utility played seven games for the Maggies and was in the best three times.
Significantly, he was named best-afield against the St Kilda-aligned Sandringham in Round 21, when he was thrown into the ruck and had eight marks and 18 hit-outs, advertising his athleticism.
After Collingwood’s season ended he returned to St Kevin’s and figured in its grand final victory over Collegians.
He was also part of Skob’s 2017 premiership.
Jok came through the Dandenong Stingrays, getting a 19-year-old year in 2016 and playing two VFL games for Frankston.
In 2015 Stingrays talent identification manager mark Wheeler called him an “elite athlete’’ and noted his ability to play in almost every position on the ground.
Emerging Sandringham big man Hayden McLean is also on St Kilda’s train-on list.
McLean, 196cm, was the Zebras’ best first-year player on the strength of his 13 matches this year.
He initially played as a key forward, but late in the season was used as a ruckman. He was named in the best in his last four games.
McLean has clamps for hands and his contested marking is his great asset.
