When the best country footballers took on the VAFA a decade ago, it was the former who came away with a big win.
Vic Country secured a 17.15 (117) to 8.7 (55) win over their metropolitan counterparts with the great Grant Weeks kicking seven goals.
The game was the feature of a triple header between the two parties with a second senior game and under-19 clash also hosted at Queen Elizabeth Oval in Bendigo.
