Speculation has been rife the 30-year-old would sign since Cameron joined the Division 1 club in September.

Coach Trevor Little said the key forward was unlikely to commit full-time as he juggles fatherhood with football for the first time.

“If anything, it might be to have a run with his brother,” Little said.

“It’s just training at the moment. If something comes of that we will be very fortunate.

“If it doesn’t, having him down there at the club gives us and the players a real buzz.”

Travis announced his AFL retirement after 256 games and 452 goals in October.

Little said about 20 spectators turned out to watch the pre-season training session as word spread Cloke was in attendance.

“My phone ran pretty hot from the players, saying it was just fantastic to have such a quality person like that down at Hurstbridge,” he said.

“I think maybe word filtered a bit more because we probably had an extra 20 watching training who don’t normally watch training.”

He said the club was yet to discuss terms with Travis but had welcomed his presence at training.

“He just wanted to come down and have a run, it was no strings attached from our point of view,” Little said.

“It was just great to have him down there and he contributed fantastically. The guys were really happy to have him there.”

The Cloke brothers would give the Bridges a powerful one-two punch in attack as they strive to earn a finals berth next year.

Cameron, who played 52 AFL games with Collingwood, Carlton and Port Adelaide, has crossed to Ben Frilay Oval after booting 127 goals for Essendon District league Division 2 premier Jacana.

“In terms of having the players around, (Travis) was able to guide them,” Little said.

“It was a pretty good sight, I must admit, seeing him and Cameron down in the forward line working together with young Mitch Burton.”
