It’s no secret East Brighton go into Saturday’s Division 2 decider as red-hot favourites.

The Vampires have been the team to beat all year, losing just one match in a commanding home-and-away season.

They’re yet to lose to the Lions this year, coming away triumphant to the tune of 35 and 30 points in their two encounters.

But grand finals are different.

Recent history means nothing.

Murrumbeena is hoping for a shred of complacency while East Brighton is doing everything to fight it.
