SFNL grand finalists Cranbourne and Cheltenham to get the 2023 ball rolling
The top flight of the Southern footy league season will begin with how its last season last finished. Here’s who else will face off in round 1.

Division 1 of the Southern league will kick off its 2023 season with a Good Friday blockbuster.
Reigning premiers Cranbourne will welcome Cheltenham in a stand-alone grand final rematch at Livingstone Reserve on Friday, April 7.
The match will be accounted as Round 4 as the remainder of the competition will kick off the following week.
Reigning premiers – Cranbourne and Division 2 title-winners Chelsea Heights – will face off when the entire competition kicks off on April 15.
Dingley, meanwhile, will have its work cut out in the opening fortnight, playing both of last year’s grand finalists on the road in its opening two fixtures.
