JUST kick it to Bazza.
That will be Pearcedale’s simple game plan when former AFL star Barry Hall lines-up with the Dales against last season’s grand finalists the Frankston Bombers at Pearcedale Reserve on Good Friday.
“He’s going to play in the goal square,’’ Pearcedale coach Leigh Stewart declared.
“I’m pretty sure they (the Bombers) will understand where the ball will be aiming most times we get it. It’s just a matter of getting the ball down there.’’
A bumper crowd is expected to watch Hall wear the blue and white hoops. He will speak at a pre-game luncheon from 12pm.
Frankston Bombers coach Beau Muston plans to give mobile defender Jarryd Amalfi first crack at Big Bazza, but admits “it will be a tough ask’’.
Former West Coast Eagles star Daniel Kerr played for Pearcedale last Saturday, helping the Dales start the season with a win over Devon Meadows.
“He was starting to come good in that third quarter,’’ Stewart said.
“He started to get his hands on the ball. Great fella, really good guy. The boys loved him.’’
