GARY Moorcroft is no stranger to the big stage.
The former Essendon and Melbourne goalsneak was the matchwinner for Bundoora in last year’s Northern Football League Division 1 grand final against Macleod, kicking the sealer with only minutes left.
On Sunday, Moorcroft will be out to add premiership coach to his CV when Bundoora’s women’s team takes on Eltham in the NFLW Division 3 decider.

Moorcroft took charge of the team mid-season and the Bulls have been imperious throughout their inaugural NFLW campaign.
They won 12 straight home-and-away games by an average of 50 points and kept St Mary’s scoreless in a 47-point semi-final victory.
“The improvement they have displayed every week has been incredible from them all,” Bundoora president Bill Price said.
“The main thing is they are absolutely loving it.”
Sianne Clancy, Bridgette Taylor-Gray, Rainbow Ebert and Amy Callaway have been standouts for the Bulls, who are likely to be promoted to Division 2 regardless of the grand final result.
“Even if we don’t win and we do go up to Division 2, the girls are looking forward to it,” Price said.
Bundoora defeated Eltham by 53 points in Round 5 and 33 points when they clashed again in Round 10.
After their emphatic semi-final display, the Bulls will be red-hot favourites to claim their first women’s premiership.
“It’s the best thing the club has been involved with. They have been absolutely outstanding.”
The NFLW Division 3 grand final is on Sunday from 9.30am at Preston City Oval as part of a triple header.
Eltham defeated St Mary’s 0.4 (4) to 0.2 (2) on Sunday.
