Sebastian Amoroso (Drouin)

Amoroso proved to be one of the better high half-forwards in the competition last year. He’s always played footy above his age and has swiftly become the ultimate team player.

William Brent (Traralgon)

Having had a terrific pre-season, he is showing his capabilities as a runner and versatility around the ground.

Cooper Brown (Traralgon)

The older of the two Cooper Brown’s on the list. A left-footer that roams across halfback; what he lacks in height – standing around 170cm – he makes up for in endurance.

Cooper Brown (Longwarry)

A bottom-age prospect that kicks the ball beautifully.

Julian Callahan (Leongatha)

Bottom-age player that has pace to burn and has neat skills to go with it. He will likely play on the wing and push forward this year.

Cohen Campbell (Morwell)

Campbell is an exceptional trainer that goes hard at the footy, he is expected to play crucial roles on opposition small forwards this year.

Harrison Canning (Berwick)

Plays for Berwick, which is Dandenong Stingrays territory, but lives in Officer so falls into Gippsland’s region. A high-flying forward that played some Vic Country Under-16s last year.

Jesse Craven (Tooradin)

A very smart footballer that thrives in pressure situations, Craven will likely play as a rotating midfielder-forward this season. Was named in the APS representative side for Haileybury last year as a year 11 student and has won a number of junior league best and fairest awards.

Wil Dawson (Leongatha)

Dawson has had a very promising pre-season after some brilliant games for Vic Country Under-16s last season. Is an aggressive big-man that will rotate through ruck and key-position posts.

Max Donohue (Leongatha)

An elite distance runner that will cause a few headaches for opposition players on the wing this season.

Zane Duursma (Foster)

A highly rated prospect that can turn games from the midfield or as a forward. A difficult match-up that can play both tall and small as well as each other.

Fox enters his maiden year in the program as a tall defender that kicks the footy on his left side.

Lachlan Gilliam (Warragul)

Gilliam is a good-sized player that played for Haileybury last year. The right-footer has the ability to play as a wing or as a back.

Josh Hamilton (Traralgon)

Being cool under pressure and taking a strong mark for his size are Hamilton’s best weapons. He will play as a midfielder-forward this season.

Tom Hanily (Leongatha)

A Xavier College product that has had a very strong pre-season. A powerful player who is just as skilful as he is hard-at-it.

Sam Hoghton (Officer)

Had some really neat performances before breaking his thumb at local footy, he returns as a 19-year-old in an opportunity to showcase his talent.

Harvey Howe (Traralgon)

Returns realistically as a 19-year-old but is born well after the season finishes. He was the Vic Country ruck last year and will look to improve on a very solid top-age season when playing for either the Power or Box Hill in the VFL.

Patrick Ireland (Warragul)

Ireland is skilful by foot and can play a key role at either end of the ground.

Tew Jiath (Morwell)

Genuine clone of brother Changkuoth Jiath who plays at Hawthorn. Tew is also in the Hawthorn Next Generation Academy and has had an incredible pre-season. Jiath will play halfback and will always look to carry the footy.

Jett Killoran (Maffra)

Killoran thrives in the contest and makes good decisions with ball in hand. Spends his weekdays as an apprentice builder and will spend his weekends playing as a midfielder-forward for the Power.

Zavier Lamers (Leongatha)

Archer Reid (Inverloch Kongwak)

The 203cm top-end prospect hasn’t missed a beat this pre-season. He will continue to turn heads rotating as a key-forward and ruckman.

Liam Serong (Warragul)

The third and tallest of the Serong brothers of recent drafts. Stands at 193cm and is coming off a full pre-season at Fremantle. Will split his time between Gippsland and Box Hill in the VFL.

Lachlan Smith (Warragul)

Smith would be a contender for the biggest player in the Coates Talent League standing at well over 200cm. Is in the initial Vic Country Under-18 side and has had some great moments across his first full pre-season this year.

Tom Stern (Warragul)

A promising junior that had a year off last season to concentrate on studies. He returns as a 19-year-old after being a key player in Warragul’s senior side. He’s a good prototype standing at 195cm and holding the ability to play anywhere on the ground.

Lane Ward (Warragul)

Ward is a hard-at-it midfielder that is strong around stoppages. Standing at 174cm, he is often the last up from the pack.
