Paddy Swayn says he’s been touched by the amount of support he’s received after suffering another health scare.

The Pines coach had a seizure in his sleep in the early hours of Thursday morning and was rushed to Frankston hospital.

He had another seizure at the hospital and was intubated.

Doctors suspected the cause of the seizures was brain related.

The same thing happened to Swayn in March.

His family explained what had happened in a Facebook post on Thursday and it received hundreds of comments of love and support.

Speaking from hospital on Saturday afternoon, Swayn wanted to let his friends know he was “on the mend’’.

He thinks he may have epilepsy.

“It’s looking like that but they can treat that,’’ he said.

During his seizures, Swayn suffered a fractured shoulder and will undergo surgery on Sunday.

“In my seizure I’ve fractured my shoulder,’’ he said.

“When I came out I was like, ‘what the hell is with my arm?’

“I couldn’t move my arm. They said, yeah it looks a bit funny.

“They’ve done an x ray and said you’ve got to get an operation on your shoulder now.’’

Swayn said the last thing he remembers was going to bed on Wednesday night.

“When I came out I said where am I?,’’ he said.

“They said you’re in Frankston hospital, and this has happened.

“I went to bed Wednesday night, I’d watched the Jimmy Stynes Open Mike (episode) and then went to bed and that was it.

“And then I wake up in Frankston hospital. It’s bizarre.

“I thought I must have been in a car crash or something.’’

Swayn’s concerned family, wife Mel, and daughters Darcy, Molly and Piper told him of the huge amount of support he’d received.

“My wife said that,’’ he said.

“I really haven’t had much of a look yet but she said, ‘there were a lot of people worried about you’, which is nice. Really nice.’’
