FORMER West Coast Eagle Tom Lamb is going back to where it all began, signing with Edithvale-Aspendale.
“Yes, he’s signed with his us,’’ Edi-Asp coach Graeme Yeats said.
“We started talking to Tom five months ago, to gauge his interest and he seemed pretty keen to come back to Edi-Asp.’’ Lamb, 22, who made one AFL appearance, in Round 1 of the 2015 season, played with Sandringham in the VFL last season.
He played a one-off game with Edi-Asp in August, booting five goals to help the Eagles beat Frankston Bombers.
“He’s keen to have a kick with some of his mates which is great for us,’’ Yeats said.
“It’s a shame he couldn’t do a bit more at the higher level but we’re very grateful he’s an Edi-Asp player.’’
Edi-Asp has also signed former Noble Park player Trent Robinson. “We’ve got a couple of other irons in the fire,’’ he said.
Edi-Asp’s main loss is Lachie Batten, who has gone back to Doveton.
